Pick the engagement model that
fits how you need to move
Project-based
Clear requirements, agreed scope, timeline, and price upfront. Best when you know what needs to be built and want cost certainty.
Time & materials
For work that evolves as you learn. You pay for engineering time actually used, with full visibility into what's being worked on.
Dedicated team
For sustained engineering capacity. Our engineers embed into your workflow - your standups, your sprint planning - as an extension of your team.
Ongoing support
For products already in production. We keep systems running, monitored, and updated on a retainer basis - no in-house hiring overhead.
Companies at different stages,
one consistent standard
Startups
Building a first product and need an experienced technical partner to help get it right without burning the runway.
Scale-ups
Past the MVP stage and running into the limits of what got them there - ready to rebuild for scale, reliability, and speed.
Established businesses
Modernizing legacy systems or adding digital capabilities without disrupting operations that already work.
Agencies & consultancies
Needing a reliable delivery partner to build out client work without adding permanent engineering headcount.
Answers to common
cooperation questions
It usually comes down to how well-defined your project is and how much it's likely to change. We'll walk through your goals, timeline, and how much flexibility you need in a free consultation, then recommend a model - project-based, time & materials, or a dedicated team - that fits.
Yes. It's common to start project-based for a clearly scoped MVP, then move to time & materials or a dedicated team once the product is live and the roadmap opens up. We'll flag when a switch makes sense rather than waiting for you to ask.
For most engagements, we can have a team scoped and ready to start within one to two weeks of signing, depending on the skill set required and current team availability.
Yes - the majority of our clients are outside Hong Kong. We work across time zones with async-friendly processes and overlap working hours for real-time collaboration when needed.
Every engagement can transition into an ongoing support retainer after launch, so you're not left without a safety net once the initial build is done. It's entirely optional - some clients prefer to bring maintenance in-house.
Project-based work is quoted as a fixed price after scoping. Time & materials and dedicated team engagements are billed monthly based on agreed rates. We'll always give you a clear estimate before work begins - no surprise invoices.
